Making the American dream a reality

It doesn’t matter where we’ve come from, it matters what we’re made of. Refugees embody this sentiment. They work hard to build a better life for themselves and their families. And as they do, they help create stronger, more vibrant communities.

That's why the IRC and Modelo are working together to help refugees build a strong financial foundation, prepare for new careers, and start local businesses.

Modelo has already committed $1 million to help refugees survive, recover and gain control of their futures. Over the last year, their support has helped create a new IRC financial opportunity center in Dallas, as well as train IRC financial coaches in 10 other U.S. cities. Since the center’s creation in March 2018, our partnership has supported over 2,000 IRC clients and counting.

Join us on our mission to help give refugees in the United States an opportunity to achieve the American dream, and provide vital emergency and long-term support to displaced families worldwide.
